Mr John Alam, as Senior Consultant, is responsible for the operations of Nautilus Network Solutions products and services. John has been in the IT industry for over eight years in positions ranging from IT Manager at Ingram Micro Asia Pte Ltd to Industry Solutions Developer for Singapore Technologies Engineering. He has been working with voice applications and unified communications technology since Voice over IP became commercially viable in 1998.
In 1999, John joined Ingram Micro Asia Pte Ltd and became Senior Product Manager in 2004. Following that, he held the position of Senior Systems Engineer at several network appliances and server solutions startups with responsibilities including developing new systems development life cycle (SDLC ). As an IT Solutions Consultant, he was responsible for deployment of worldwide roll-outs of network appliance systems to companies such as Price Water House Coopers. He provided infrastructure, communications, engineering solutions and services to key customers in Singapore and in the region and was responsible for spearheading technology application and development of data and voice communication systems; policy formulation and strategic planning; and operational management of critical ground systems. |
